Can I bring wine to my venue?
Each venue is different - some places require that you use their caterers, while others allow you to provide your own alcohol, some free of charge, others for a fee, and others for a "corkage" fee.
Do you pour at the venue?
Our event wines are for those who are looking to bring a large quantity of wine to a venue - a venue that allows BYOB.
We do not provide bartending/pouring service for these events - but we can recommend some.
Where do you get your wines from? How do you choose your wines?
Our team of wine professionals and sommeliers work with a number of wine vendors and distributors and focus on smaller production boutique wines that are not only high quality, but flavorful. We taste all products we have on the online shop and available for event services.
Are my only options within the event wine collection?
No! You are welcome to choose from our variety of wines, or even make special requests - which we will do our best to accommodate.
Our collection of event wines are selected for their versatility and high value. We are happy to procure specific wines for your event.
Please note that selections we don't currently carry may not be available for your custom tasting consultation.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes.
Our event wines have a minimum order of 4 cases (solid).
For orders of 6 cases (or more), cases can be mixed (in increments of 6).
What are your volume discounts?
Our volume discounts start at 5 cases (solid).
Additional discounts are available with a case or order amount ($) minimums.
When do I need to order by?
To accommodate for any logistical issues, we recommend placing your final order no later than 30 days from your event date.
Tasting consultations should be before the 30 day order date, we recommend 45 days.
Do you help pair wine & food?
Yes!
We are happy to work with your caterer to create a wine list that pairs with your menu items.
What are tasting consultations?
We offer tasting consultations of ten (10) wines for up to four (4) people with tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and custom pricing.
After an initial conversation of what wines you are looking for, we can narrow down selections based on your criteria.
Tasting consultations are available with a $175 deposit, applied to your final order.
What is your payment policy
A contract/agreement with deposit is required no later than 30 days prior to the event. An initial fifty percent (50%) deposit is required at signature of contract. The remaining balance is to be paid within 30 days after the wine is delivered. Standard sales tax and CRV will apply to all wine, and a set admin fee will apply. A credit card is required to confirm the order.
What is your delivery service policy?

Delivery is subject to availability
- Advanced scheduling required
- Two (2) hour delivery window
- Adult (21 years or older) must sign
- $40 delivery up to 6 cases within a 25 mile radius
Complimentary Delivery
- Complimentary delivery of 6 cases or more within a 25 mile radius of 91740 ($15 for each additional 10 miles)
- Complimentary delivery of 12 cases or more within a 50 mile radius of 91740 ($15 for each additional 10 miles)
Can I return and get a refund for wines I don't use/open?
Unfortunately, no.
Returns or refunds of wine (and other alcoholic beverages) are illegal in California.
What’s the cancellation policy?
If the wine order is cancelled within fourteen (14) days of the delivery date, Sippin Somm Wines will retain a percentage of the deposit and any additional expenditures to the date of cancellation (including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, and/or proposal costs), and issue refund of the remaining balance.
Additionally, the deposit is forfeited if the wine order is cancelled within seven (7) days prior to the delivery date.
If the wine order is cancelled within seventy-two (72) hours prior to the delivery date, host/hostess is responsible for the full wine order (and may pick up wines at a scheduled date and time).
Should the wine order be canceled by Sippin Somm Wines, Sippin Somm Wines will fully refund any deposit within ten (10) days of the date of cancellation.
