Refund policy

At Sippin Somm Wines, we strive to provide the best quality products and customer service. Our Returns and Cancellations Policy outlines the terms under which returns, exchanges, and cancellations are accepted. Please read this policy carefully.

Returns

  1. Alcohol Products: Returns of alcohol products are for store credit only. No cash, check, or credit card refunds for alcohol will be issued under any circumstances. Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Cork Taint (TCA): If you receive a wine with cork taint (TCA) within 30 days of the purchase date, please contact us. We do not guarantee wines after 7 years from the vintage date. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  3. Return Process:

    • Our policy works on a case-by-case basis, but in most cases, we will cover your loss. To be properly compensated by our distributors and suppliers, any flawed wine must be returned to us intact.

    • The customer must securely place the cork back in the bottle with wine still inside, repack it securely in the original packing materials or an approved wine shipper, and send it back to us at the customer's expense.

    • We will not accept returns if less than 50% of the wine remains in the bottle. We need to prove the wine is flawed to issue store credit.

    • If the wine is received and deemed a legitimate claim, Sippin Somm Wines will either replace the bottle (if still available) or issue store credit.

  4. Illegal Refunds: In the state of California, it is illegal to refund alcohol purchases. Refunds of store credit are issued on a case-by-case basis.

  5. Money Back Refunds: Money-back refunds will only be issued for products shipped or given in error by Sippin Somm Wines.

Damaged in Transit

Should any products be damaged during shipping, please contact us by phone at 909-265-3262 or email at info@sippinsommwines.com so we may pursue a claim with the shipping company. Damaged products must be returned to receive a store credit.

Cancellations

  1. Order Cancellations: Customers can cancel their order within 72 hours of placing it for a full refund, provided the order has not yet been fulfilled or delivered. This allows for any customer mistakes. Beyond this period, Sippin Somm Wines cannot refund the customer by any means other than store credit.

  2. Errors by Sippin Somm Wines: In any case where a mistake is made on behalf of Sippin Somm Wines, a full refund will be issued without penalty to the customer.

  3. Discretion and Interpretation: The application of this policy is at the discretion of Sippin Somm Wines and is subject to our interpretation.
